This represents the plucking scene and the state of Baden-Württemberg in the host state and promotes social cohesion across national borders - regardless of personal or political backgrounds.

Getting to know people, making music together, communicating, growing personally. On-site workshops and interactions with children and young people promote international exchange. The facets of plucked string music range from classical to modern, which will be presented together with the partner orchestra.

Our JZObw
As a selective orchestra, the JZObw focuses on the promotion of young musicians. The top performers of the Baden-Württemberg plucked string music scene play here, including multiple prizewinners of the “Jugend musiziert” competition. The JZObw is professionally supervised by the Bund Deutscher Zupfmusiker e.V. Landesverband Baden-Württemberg.

The top performers of the Baden-Württemberg plucked string music scene play here, including multiple prizewinners of the “Jugend musiziert” competition. The JZObw is professionally supervised by the Bund Deutscher Zupfmusiker e.V. Landesverband Baden-Württemberg.

Your donation will increase the scope of the travel budget for activities and meals. This is to be covered by the young talents, mainly pupils and students, in addition to their own contribution of €1,400 per person and is estimated at €600.
